What we collect, and what we don’t.

Short version: the tools run in your browser, nothing you paste into them is sent anywhere by default, and there are no accounts. The longer version is below, because you should be able to check.
The tools
Every tool on this site does its work inside your browser. The email you paste into Scam Check, the contract you paste into Contract Reader, the article you paste into Copy Desk, the images you drop into Image Squeeze and Safe Zone, the export you drop into Your Archive — none of it is uploaded to us or to anyone else. When you close the tab, it’s gone.
Optional submissions
Three tools let you contribute to a shared pool, and only when you press a button that says so:
- Rate Index stores the deal shape you submit: format, audience band, niche, fee, usage rights and exclusivity. Not your name, not the brand, not a URL.
- RPM Index stores niche, traffic band, revenue, resulting RPM, ad network if you gave one, and the month. Not your site.
- Scam Check’s report button stores the sender and reply-to domains from the email (never a personal mailbox provider like gmail.com), a one-way fingerprint of the wording, and the signal score. Never the email itself, never the addresses, never any name in it.
Submissions are shown back to other visitors only in aggregate, and only once there are enough of them in a band that no single submission can be picked out.
Rate limiting
To stop abuse, the submission and lookup endpoints keep a count per visitor for one hour. The visitor is identified by a one-way salted hash of the connecting IP address; the address itself is not stored, and the counts are deleted within about two hours.
Server logs
Like every web server, ours records requests — the page, the time, the browser’s user-agent string and the IP address — for security and to keep the site running. Logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to build profiles.
Advertising and analytics
The site is supported by advertising and, where a tool has a sponsor, a named sponsor placement. Where third-party advertising or analytics code runs on a page, that third party may set cookies or collect usage information under its own policy; where the law requires it, you’ll be asked before that happens. We don’t sell information about you, because we don’t have any worth selling.
Cookies
The site itself sets none. Any cookies come from the advertising or analytics providers described above, and only where that code is present.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google’s servers. Google’s privacy policy covers that request.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect anything from them.
Your choices
Don’t submit to the pools if you’d rather not. Block third-party cookies in your browser and the tools still work exactly the same. If you believe something has been stored that identifies you, email and we’ll look.
