U.S. Intelligence: China lied, covered up extent of the outbreak 1

A classified report made by the U.S. intelligence community states that China has “concealed” the extent of their outbreak. China is accused of under-reporting the true number of total cases and those infected and those who have passed away from the outbreak.

This report was provided to the White House, as per three U. S. officials, who are operating anonymously. They have stated that the report is currently secret and will not provide the exact details of what’s in the report.

However, they are suggesting that China is purposely under-reporting by giving fake numbers, and this leads them to suggest that China’s numbers are actually much higher. In other words, China is reporting fake news.

One of the biggest reasons that some people doubt the honesty in China’s numbers are seeing photographs of funeral homes in Beijing with thousands of urns sitting outside. Some believe the number of urns they see do not match the numbers provided by China, in the sense that there appears to be a lot more urns than reported lives lost. Many might speculate why there seems to be way too many urns. Is it because they are preparing in advance or that China needs them right now?

Deborah Birx also chimed in. She reminds people that other countries are using data from China and that has an impact. If China provides false data, then it completely affects how other countries use that data, and certainly impairs the results.

As stated, Birx said, “The medical community made — interpreted the Chinese data as: This was serious, but smaller than anyone expected,” she said at a news conference on Tuesday. “Because I think probably we were missing a significant amount of the data, now that what we see happened to Italy and see what happened to Spain.”

Political figures like Mike Pompeo are calling for China to be more honest and transparent with their statistics.
