A divorce lawyer has been hired by Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady and model Gisele Bündchen, NBC News reports. This could signal the eventual end of their high-profile marriage. The couple has been married since early 2009, but there’s rumors that could come to an end with the hiring of lawyers.

The pair has 2 kids: Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9. Brady has also another son named Jack, 15, with ex Bridget Moynahan.

In the event of a divorce, the model and the seven-time Super Bowl champion, 45, would share custody of their two children. They have been married since 2009 and are very involved in their children’s lives. According to reports, the couple has been living separately for the past few months following an epic fight. They are reportedly considering splitting their multimillion-dollar business, said Page Six. A source from Page Six has said, “I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is.”

“I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”

According to legal experts, it is likely that the couple would file for divorce in Florida, since that is their primary residence. An additional source familiar with the couple confirms that the couple is considering dividing their assets, including their real estate portfolio worth $26 million.

With $250 million, Brady is the top-paid NFL player, with sponsorship deals including Hertz, FTX, Hertz, the BRADY brand and Autograph.

In December 2020, Page Six reported that the billionaires had purchased a $17 million home on Indian Creek Island in Miami known as the “Billionaires Bunker.” Their plan was to demolish the five-bedroom, 5,172-square-foot mansion on the two-acre lot and build a new one.

In August, Brady took eleven days off from Bucs training camp because of “personal things.” After being asked about his absence following his comeback, Brady stated to reporters, “I’m 45 years old, man. There’s a lot of crap going on.”

This season has been a slow start for Brady by his high standards. In four games, he threw for 1,058 yards and six touchdowns, which are good for eighth and tenth in the league. Brady was ranked by Forbes as the ninth-highest paid athlete in the world this year.

In addition, the couple owns a condo valued at $3.6 million at 70 Vestry St. in Tribeca and a property at Mike Meldman’s Yellowstone Club valued at $5.7 million.

Brady was headed to Miami before Hurricane Ian hit Tampa, where Brady plays for the Buccaneers. In recent days, Bündchen has been spotted there too. Bündchen had mentioned that she was not pleased that Brady was continuing his football career.

“Obviously, I have my concerns — this is a very violent sport, and I have my children, and I would like him to be more present,” she said. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. “
