LeBron James was fined $15,000 after poorly copying Sam Cassell’s classic ‘Big Balls Dance’ during the Lakers victory over the Pacers in Indiana. It’s like he copied the dance, but did it wrong. (smdh)
“Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has been fined $15,000 for making an obscene gesture on the playing court and warned for using profane language during media availability in response to league imposed discipline, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations,” the NBA announced.
After he received a suspension for his altercation with the Detroit Pistons’ Isaiah Stewart, James was also issued a warning about using profane language. James called the one-game suspension “bull****” during a press conference.
That incident happened during Sunday’s game when James elbowed Stewart above the eye when they were both anticipating a rebound off a free-throw. Stewart was bleeding near the eyebrow, after which he shoved James shortly before the court was flooded with teammates and staff, stopping Stewart from going after James like a madman.
Both players were suspended without pay, but Stewart received a two-day suspension.
